Mobile payments can be a nightmare and we totally understand both user and company frustrations setting up platforms that allow people to both spend and earn money over mobile devices. That’s why we’re very happy to announce that Cubie is now integrated with Fortumo, one of the leading providers of mobile payment platforms in the world. We began integration early this month and released the latest Android version last week, which includes the new payment option.
After going live in Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia last week, Cubie users in a further 41 countries (44 in total) can now make purchases via their mobile phone bill, rather than by credit card. Readers in some parts of the world will know that for many, credit cards aren’t an option. For many Cubiers, being too young to have a credit card is also an issue.
So how can you purchase stickers via your phone bill? It’s simple! Click on the ‘Purchase’ icon next to the sticker pack you want and select ‘Phone Bill’ instead of Google Play.
Cubiers in Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Paraguay, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine and the UK can now take advantage of this service. More countries will be added soon!
So yeah, that’s about it. Keep calm and Cubie on!
